and i don't want you to feel sorry for me,

lol. maia got voted off from singapore idol! maia got voted off. -sniggers. good riddance to bad rubbish, though i have to admit that she can really sing. and her son is very cute. but it isnt good enough to make up for her expliotation of he single mama status. >.<

had the debate today.

we lost.

not that the other team deserves to win. in fact, in terms of sportsmanship etc. WE deserve to win.

honestly, i dont know why perfectly lovely names like elizabeth, nikki and angela are given to such assholes. hey, i am not being mean here. i still gave them asses. and no, i aint being a sore loser. i just cant take the fact that we lost to such unworthy opponent. if it is say, faith 3-3 or any other class, i will gladly concede defeat. no, wait, i will even concede defeat to faith 2-1, who are the winners, if they havent behave so assly.

debating does not require the need to bang the table or saying "case close." this isnt a court. in fact, i doubt you can even say that in a court, except, perhaps, the court in 'the practice.' and, this is the gmss debate. not the america elections debate. you dont have to attempt to mimick ronald reagan when you said something back to jonathan (which i cant remember). if you like america so much, i dont understand why then, you dont know for a fact that most americans when they grew up, they cannot read/do maths as well as we do. and i've got proof (or i will have, didnt go google it yet marh, will do it later) which i will show it to you on monday. i know the debate is closed, but i cannot take it lying down that you are accusing me of making false accusations. i dont say things unless i am sure.

oh, and the praying. if you prayed before the debate, asking God to give you a calm mind, a clear speech, giving your entire team to Him etc, i totally approved of it. but after the whole thing ended? there could be only one thing on your mind then: winning. and you are praying to Him to let you people win. how low could you get? even when i wanted my favourite team (or even my team) to win and they are on the verge on losing, i dont go, "dear God, please let them/us win." no way. i dont know when did it seep in to my mind but it's just there. you dont pray God to let you/other peeps win. its just so not right.

in fact, i doubt that any religion encourages people to pray just to win. it is total crap.

esther beh totally rock in her last statement though. seriously, i think the whole sec 3 cohort wanted to rush up to her and gave her a gigantic hug for her last statement. although all is fair and square in a competition, you guys ought to give us some respect too. after all, we are your seniors. and you are basically treating us like dirt, not as you termed it "worthy opponents," which btw, is a total rip-off from our starting line.

and you are always in the, as cassandra termed it, "the grey area." dont deny it, you are. and you suck at answering questions, even more than us. when daphne asked you that question, you are stunned. again, dont deny it, it was obvious. thus, the only reply you could come up with was a lame reply that lead you back to "the grey area." honestly, if you were that good, you could do better.

daphne's question was: "dont you think it would be very selfish of the individual if formal education just serves the need of the individual?"

a simple and good retort? "well, gee, then wouldnt be very selfish of the state as well if formal education just serves the need of the state?" -snorts. if you're reading this, which i doubt you are, i wonder if you would still think that you are super good (not saying that i am).

admit, you guys think you were. from the way angela answered (i think) hwei ting's question, the banging, screeeeeeching etc. you guys think that you were good. its obvious. 'cause if you're modest, you would answer in a neutral tone, stammering and hestitating here and there and not screeeeeeeeching.

to digress, i still think i can screeeech better. XD

the only person out of the entire debate thing that i have no clams (right word?) with is joyce. no, not for the fact that she's my junior. but for the fact that she did not appear as cocky as you people. she stammer, she hestitates. she apologises. she did many things that you guys didnt. and she did not do many things that you guys did. if i would to choose a best debater, i would choose joyce instead of elizabeth. which seriously pisses me off as much as angela and nikki does. three of them just makes me roll my eyes. -rubs eyes. poor old eyes.

anyhow, we sec 3s still rock. perhaps together with the sec 4s. but never together with the sec 2s. btw, to those sec 2s who saw me at ikea on tue, get a life. dont have to stare at me nor the guy beside me. we are not what you think we are.

honestly, though he looks like 17, my brother is already 25 and has a girlfriend. besides, isnt there a law or something that siblings cant fall in love with each other? (the autumn korean show excluded).

come on, dont deny it. you guys thought that he is my boyfriend. if not, why are you staring at me and him, huh? you guys cant be checking him out right? i'm a very down-to-earth person. my brother aint one handsome dude. at least, not your type. unless you like the mr. lee kind. well, if you are checking him out, here's a newsflash, he wont fall for you. because of the fact that he's got a gf and you guys are too young for him and because he doesnt fall for bimbos.

what, it is not an insult okay. bimbos = beauty without brains. i termed you guys as beauties (though it makes me puke), thats enough kindness from me shown for today.

to esther, pin hua, marilyn, jonathan, charlene, (i think i am speaking for all, if not, the majority of the sec 3s here) you guys are the winning team in my heart.

you never gave us a chance to be.
