these are the moments,

okay. what about this? a post once a month? =) and i must start off by saying that august has been a real busy month.

first, we had national day celebrations in school. it was a boring affair, at least for me, since i didnt get to watch the whole show. just the gb's drill. it was cool. but the bb did a better job way back in sec one. maybe i am baised against the gb ( since i've always insisted that it mostly consisted of female dogs ), but, whatever.

next, we had thanksgiving at kallang theatre. my opinion? it was much better than victoria theatre. why? because

A) the aircons didnt make me want to freeze my butt off.

B) the trumpet section has its own dressing room. how cool is that? okay, so i admit, it's kind of small. but it's cosy, so there.

C) we dont feel like second-class citizens.

D) we get to watch the show. -ponders. well, it was only the choir's performance, mr. lim's speech and the prize presentation. and even though everything was kind of boring ( i was dozing off during the sermon. =x jaslyn ong was practically sleeping. then her junior, a sec 1 prefect, told us to listen and not sleep. >.<>

and E) we get to eat the buffet. -beams. finally, first-class treatment. oh, yeah, the buffet was delicious esp. the chicken. definately much better than the rice-matters' celebrations.

downside to thanksgiving? i left yuan ling, shikin, rachel and geraldine at kallang leisure park and went home all by myself. bad move. i nearly got lost near singapore indoor stadium. -sigh. i should have remembered that i have no sense of direction. anyhow, i manage to find my way back. =) ( duh. if not, i wont be typing this now.)

then, national day came. happy belated birthday singapore. =) got performance early in the morning at some place called ja-lan ber-sa. awful place. we were treated like third-class citizens. reasons: we were invited to play and nobody listened, save for ms. johnson & mrs. chng and ourselves. so thoughtful of them, huh? they gave us an freakin' ugly shirt. so ugly that i wont be caught wearing it. xpone good thing though, i saw mrs. lai, my vp from fengshan. and no, i didnt get a chance to say hi to her. =(

after the performace, i went to orchard with the entire trumpet section + geraldine, eleanor & grace ang. sort of like a farewell party to jie wen, eleanor and grace. -nods head. then joyce was dressed like a combat fighter. hehe. i was relegated to be her faithful sidekick. XD basically, we just took neoprints. coz joyce & i were late. actually fact, we were early. but let's just say... we were enticed by takashimaya. >.< style="font-weight: normal;">NDP 2004 with yuan ling, chermaine + gerladine. but i'd rather not elaborate on it. it was the boring-est ndp i'd ever attended. if you want to know why, ask jesslyn. i aint saying anything. i went home alone again. and met this uncle who likes to scold f***. jeez.

shortly after, there was the clumination of the ngee ann's competition. we bagged gold and best skit. XD the feeling was good. especially since we beat both ahs teams. hey, who is the lame one now? our skit may be lame, but we milked the laughs and we got the prize. and we are not even from the drama club. ha. too bad. some people are just natural at acting. =x

lastly, the olympics came. athens 2004. my dearest olympics came back on-screen after a 4 year absence, with an extra cool tagline to boot: welcome home. =) too bad li jia wei didnt break the 44 years medal drought for singapore. oh, well, how cares? she still can win in beijing 2008. together with zhang xueling & ronald susilo. and hopefully one of the sports school kids? >.< style="font-weight: normal;">birthday. ha-ha.

many thanks to ( in alphabetical order - dont want to be bias ): anna, charlene, chermaine, emmeline, esther beh, esther tan, geraldine, grace, hui ting, jesslyn, kah ern, kah fai, marcus, min xiu, pin hua, rachel, reny, shu heng, tiffany, yuan ling for your presents. love them all ( i cant say i dislike them, can i? haha ).

thanks to: all those who wished me happy birthday.

future thanks: to my brother who had promised 'the sims 2.' XD

these are the times.
