we'll scream at the top of our lungs,

i am watching the liverpool-portsmouth match and they show a few shots of this girl with a placard that said (in spanish), "hello, torres. can i have your jersey please?" or something like that. this struck me as really weird.i mean, yeah, ok, i can understand why she wants torres' jersey. but really, does she want it so badly that she's willing to take a jersey that is soaked in sweat, spit and mud? eeeeeeeeeeeeeewk.

if i were her, i would probably write a placard that says in ENGLISH (let's not insult his english alright, i am sure its not that bad), "hello fernando (because i think its rude to call people by their surnames, i mean, i wouldn't want people to call me tan), can i have the jersey that you wore when benitez (now i use the surname because i don't know how to spell his name) unveiled you as the new liverpool signing, please? thank you." of course, i will really need a big placard to squeeze all those words in, but you get what i mean.

STUPID TORRES BOY, I JUST KNEW HE HAS TO MISS THE BLOODY PENALTY. so kuku can. he better score a lot a lot a lot of goals and keep looking so handsome pretty or he will DIE.

not that i will bear to kill him, anyway.

and i think benitez should get rid of his beard. ok, fine, it hides its double chin but it makes him look a) super ugly b) super super ugly c) super super super ugly and d) super super super super super ugly.

i think yusheng and yingjun's embrace was way too short for my liking. boo!

if the teachers want us to like them more, perhaps they should play favourites less. yeah, sure, i guess playing favourites is something inevitable, something that all of us do everyday. but, really. do they have to make it so obvious as to who they prefer and who they don't? don't they know anything about being discreet? it is super bloody irritating when one can do no wrong just because one is the teacher's pet while others can't seem to do everything right just because they aren't the teacher's pet.

when a teacher's pet do badly in a certain subject, for example, i don't really see teachers blaming the pet for a) not studying hard enough b) not practicing hard enough or c) not being smart enough. which, is not wrong, of course, because i am pretty certain that the pet did study and did practice hard enough, but hard enough just wasn't quite enough. no, it is not wrong.

but it becomes wrong when someone who is not a teacher's pet do badly in a certain subject and the teacher blame the person for a) not studying hard enough b) not practicing hard enough when i am pretty sure that the person has done the above, but, just like the pet, hard enough wasn't enough for the person.

that said, i think it is ridiculous to peg somebody's extent of revision/hard work based on that person's grades. life is unfair, sweetheart. sometimes you work so bloody hard for something but you don't get the results and sometimes, you work so unbloody hard for something, and you get the results. this situation is prevalent everywhere in life and i am surprised that you, being someone whom my mother will say eat more salt than i eat rice, didn't realise this when you wrote those comments on those result slips.

i can say in all honesty, that even though you are a reasonably nice teacher (to me, at least and before this whole fiasco started), the fact remains that you hardly interact with us. question you with regards to how we feel about each other, school, what we adore, what we detest blah blah blah, and you would probably draw a blank (did i use this phrase correctly?). so i really don't think that you are fit to judge whether a person is a positive influence or a negative influence on someone else. after all, how much do you really know him, her, us, them? and come on, the person don't even look and behave as though he/she is a negative influence, unlike say, paris hilton!

and i think it is really bad and unkind and mean and generally bitchy of you to spin tales about my friends. ok, so maybe you have an overactive imagination and you need some outlet to let it all out (after all, with the subject you are teaching, you can hardly have anytime to utilise your imagination), but, why can't you just do something more positive instead? like, write a nice little story about naughty boys and girls who come back to school to, no, not study, but to just say hi and bye to his/her friends. how about a nice little story about how a person has x-ray eyes and can look through ceilings to see what's directly below them! i mean, you may discover a jk rowling in you and then, guess what? YOU WILL BE RICH. woo-hoo! :D

then, there is you.

granted, i also think you are a reasonably nice teacher, in all honesty. and i think you genuinely care about your students. but, really, do you really have to make it clear as to whom most of your care and concern is directed to? seriously, sometimes, my eyes really get tired from rolling around thanks to your extra care and concern for... someone (guess who? I AM NOT GOING TO SAY), especially when there are other people who need more help around. you know, i can be really bitchy and talk about that particular day in term 2, but, oh heck, i shall be really bitchy by talking about the day in term 2. in term 2, somebody's birthday came, just like everyone else before. but, oh, no. you don't want to give that person a nice delicious birthday cake just like what everybody else got. that person has to be special! and so, in comes in a nice big plastic bag with a nice lovely wrapper which in most likelihood, contains a nice big present.

EVEN MY PARENTS DON'T GIVE ME SUCH BIG PRESENTS CAN (ok la, actually my dad gave me a rather big kitchen set when i was still in nursery/kindergarten, but never mind).

and sometimes, i really wish you would just answer questions instead of just asking us to accept whatever it is written. i mean, sure, i really couldn't care less because i am more than willing to just accept whatever it is written but i am really one of the rare few out there, trust me. the others, they are more curious than me (in this kind of things anyway) and they really want to know.

and also, when somebody seeks your help in clarifying matters, the person really really needs your help. if the person intended to ask you to make matters worse, the person will tell you that. really, if you had intended to make matters worse, i think it is only right if you had told the person so instead of giving the person false hope and wrong ideas.

that said, your whole department is anal. sorry that i have to use such a term, but that is really the best description which i can fit your department into. it is anal the way we are being forced to regard the subject as being THE most important subject in our lives and it is anal the way we are being forced to use your way of answering (right down to the exact phrase) and no one else, i mean, really. have you ever heard of the term synonyms? and i am sorry to break this to you, but at this point in life, every subject to us is important, and unlike you teachers, we cannot afford to play favourites.

also, i think it is annoying how you always like to signal out the councillors back when our term was not yet over and kindly ignore the fact that, at that point in time, SOME OF THE COUNCILLORS WERE DOING REASONABLY WELL. and even if not reasonably well, most of us were trying our best anyway. sorry if our best wasn't enough for you, now why don't you go target those who led relatively less busy lives than us but still do as badly?

but that was in the past, and i shall let bygones be bygones and not dwell on it.

and lt5 is cramped beyond the max, can you just please do us a favour, reduce the number of people by 50 so that we can get a better view? and so that we won't have to sacrifice our neck-numbing front row seats with clear view for back-numbing back row seats with unclear views just because mrs hod's class can't see a shit. OI, IF THEY CANNOT SEE, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK WE CAN. we may be deemed as a smarter class, but just in case you didn't realise, SMARTNESS IS NOT RELATED TO SUPER DUPER GOOD AND PERFECT EYESIGHT. AND IT IS NOT RELATED TO HEIGHT EITHER CAN.

like i said before, good english teachers are really hard to come by but i dont really have anything against you except for your teaching skills. and the fact that perhaps you could have spoke up a little for me in front of the vp. but, seriously, i don't really have anything against you and my only advice to you is, perhaps you should seek an alternative job. i am sure you can be a really really good gym trainer. or a bodybuilder, which is not too shabby. imagine if you win an asian games gold medal! kaching, donno how many thousands into your bank!

anyway, old news, but they are taking away our study break apparently because all our lovely teachers felt that we need all the help we can get. and you are talking about the same teachers who see no wrong in suspending students for bad results. oh, so those students need no help at all?

actually i wanted to also talk about the old hag in school but i realised i have been talking about her quite a lot in the past few entries, so i shall not talk anymore.

ok, so this is the end of my tirade. the above thoughts are not meant to elicit any lawsuits from anyone, thank you.

and they'll think its just 'cause we're young.
